Broderie Pouch

I saw this pattern in Creation Point de Croix Magazine Issue October/November 2012.
I used 32 count natural linen DMC #815, 816, Ecru & a tan color, can not remember the number.
I made a tassel with ribbons and lace with an initial charm for the owner and a cute red bow charm.
I love the french laundry Japanese linen I used for this project. I also used red polka dot Japanese linen. I love this also because half of the linen is red with cream dots and the other half of the linen is cream with red dots.
The biggest challenge, the zipper. I had a really hard time putting it on because of the curve of the bag. Never again.

Rachel's Wallet

Christmas Gift number 1. I made one so far. A cute wallet for my step daughter for Christmas.
The model I bought from the very talented Chantal from Mamilou Creations and the wreath stitched on the front was from a magazine.
I used DMC 931 & 762. The alphabet I received from my friend.

The model was stitched on stitch band from: Atelier Steekjes en Kruisjes
Blue Mas d'Ousvan Fabric: Shabby Fabrics
"R" Initial Charm: Etsy Shop Beadsupplies
Vintage lace from reserve.

Cute Accessories Case

I found this free pattern:  HERE

As always I sewed my pockets crooked. Oh well.

I used 28 count DMC linen with as always DMC 815
The red cotton fabric was bought at my local Walmart.

Rose Pouch

I used Natural Linen Stitch Band with Ecru Pyramid on the sides with DMC 815 and an antique red shell button. I love this Yuwa Rose Linen. Everywhere I found the pink rose. There is one place I did find the red rose linen below. It matches the color of the stitch band perfectly.  The stitch band was a little off from the manufacturers. The lines were not straight.

Drawstring Handbag

This drawstring handbag was a free tutorial on ATELIER DE KITTY.
It holds all of my antique threads on wood spools, pin cushion and embroidery scissors and I also cross stitched a wood spool using all Mas d'Ousvan fabrics from SHABBY FABRICS

Pink Aiguilles

This needlebook I made for my 14 year old step daughter who likes to sew occasionally. I used 32 count Jobelan linen with DMC 3716 and I made this out of cardboard. I also made a pin cushion to match the fabric. I tried to use a patchwork fabric which did not work so well on such a small area so I just so happened to have a small scrap of pink stripe fabric which matched one of the patches on the fabric. (Lucky me) This measured around 3 1/2" wide by 6" wide. I found the pattern in an issue of Del fil en Aiguille Magazine. (in my early posts I have been spelling it wrong)  There is a needle roll to match this but I have not had a chance to make it.

Eventually as I do these patterns I will post them onto Free Charts so everyone can enjoy.

Pink Toile Accessories Case

I did this Accessories case for my friend who also stitches and did not have the time to make one of her own and also is not as advanced in crafting. I used 22 count aida, DMC 961 and 3716.
I used some swarovski crystals and some buttons with ribbon through the buttons. I also made a pocket in the inside with some vintage lace found at the thrift store and some felt for the needle keep and scissor holder. I made a really small scissor fob pincushion with the pink gingham fabric I used on the inside and swarovski bicone beads instead of buttons. I got this pattern from a few issues of the french magazine Del fil Aguilles.  I added some thread winders that I printed out and wrapped them with thread and a needlebook that I also printed out that I found on Pinterest.
The little flower on the front is a yo yo flower with shellz mini heart buttons.

Toile Fabric and Crochet Lace Accessories Case

I found many items at thrift stores, yard sales and flea markets. I made this accessories book out of card board and left over fabric from a set of pillows I made. I found this wonderful striped blue ticking fabric from a thrift store. It is such a wonderful fabric. It has the vintage navy blue stripe and striped with a cream crochet stripe. I wish I had more. I only found a yard of it. I also used some vintage bone buttons I bought from an old women who said that they were her mother's buttons (they are the best kind). I added some pockets in the inside with some other crochet lace, crochet flowers and some charms that I found at also the thrift store.  In the back of the book I did an oval pin cushion with some more lace that I found yesterday at the thrift store.

Blue Accessories Case

I did this accessories case because I needed to travel with my work. I used a 18 Count Quaker Cloth and DMC 932, some Swarovski Crystals and a twisted cord tassel made with the same thread. I also used vintage buttons that I bought from the thrift store.

Cross Stitched Envelope Accessories Case

I originally made this cross stitched card with a cross stitched envelope for my niece who just graduated high school. The intention was to mail the envelope but the gingham fabric was just to cute that I added a pocket, scissor holder, needle keep and I printed out some thread winders with thread wrapped around it so she can take it to college with her.
The pattern I got from Chantal Rualt from Mamilou Creations http://www.mamiloucreations.com/18-categorie-12390071.html

This pattern was stitched on 32 Count Jobelan Fabric with DMC Ecru, 3750 and 816.

Any patterns I am happy to share with you.
