Gift Exchange

A vey gorgeous etui and a framed wire egg from Ateliers d'Antan.
Sylvie did a wonderful job on cartonnage. Beautiful Lecien Fabrics. I made
a lavender sachet for her and forgot to take a photo of the other things in the package.
Thank you Sylvie.

Memory Board

I did this wonderful memory board really big so I can fit lots of stuff on it.
I used my navy blue toile fabric and antique buttons that I had. I also got a really big blister from the hot glue gun. OUCH.
I love this Waverly scene. I think this is the only color that it comes in like a ticking fabric. I only saw the other colors in cotton fabric.
I really want it in red but my fabric store does not carry it in the store and it costs $23. per yard plus $12.00 for delivery. Way to much for fabric.

Sajou Alphabet Pattern

This is a Sajou Alphabet Sampler which I stitched onto an 18 Count Aida fabric with DMC 803. I have yet to make the fabric box for this because my first box was off on the cuts and I don't want to mess up my expensive chipboard. I ordered a Martha Stewart Scoring Board to help me with this problem. I plan on making this into a sewing box for my mother for Christmas. I would need to make the little accessories to match using the elements in the pattern. I am still fickled on what kind of fabric to use. I originally bought a very expensive flower fabric with 3 shades of blue and light grey but the flowers have a deco fell to it and I want it more vintage and stylish. Maybe I will use the Navy Blue Waverly Toile fabric.
