10 Commandements de La Brodeuse

I am stitching the wonderful 10 Commandment of the Embroiderer.
After tracking it down, it is no longer available so I emailed a few bloggers that stitched it and voila. That one blogger was nice enough to sent it to me. With thanks to Cristina at De Fils en Etoffes.

Since I am in such a great mood & I am renewing my wedding vows on Saturday for my 5th Anniversary this past September, if anyone wants a copy of this beautiful piece, just comment me and leave your email address where to send it PDF.

Bienvenue

I made a new cushion for my door welcoming all who enter.

I used 16 count flax, 1 over 2 & DMC 815. Some buttons, ribbons and a tassel to bring it all together.
Something simple while I work on my big projects. Having problems with my Antique and Romantic SAL.

Ribbons & Cherub Fabric: Atelier Steekjes en Kruisjes
Red Ticking Striped Fabric: Etsy Shop
Buttons: Old Stash

Bienvenue

I started a sign with the snow keeping me indoors.
I am using 40 count flax, 1 over 2, DMC 930 & 931 and my magnifier in hand because I can not see the holes.

The pattern is Chez-Isabulle that I actually found free on the net & is on my free patterns page.

Knitting Basket

I wanted some ideas to stitch my knitting basket that I bought from the flea market and my friend Celine at Toile de lin et petites croix had taken photos of a basket that her friend Françoise who does not have a blog, made so beautifully that I had to show it off to stitchers.
I love how she made the bottom curved and it is not the typical rectangle shape. I have to give a bravo to her. I do have this pattern and I do not know if I want to copy but it is so great.
