La Dame au petit chien

I made this bag for a fiend who kept begging me to make her one. I peronalized it with an initial "C".
I used Lecien fabric for the back  and French General linen stripes for the inside. The modern lace was perfect for this picture.
My inspiration is from Creation Point de Croix Magazine Issue No. 18 sitched on 30 count Wilchelt natural linen. This linen is stiffer, perfect for bag making.

Gift Exchange

A vey gorgeous etui and a framed wire egg from Ateliers d'Antan.
Sylvie did a wonderful job on cartonnage. Beautiful Lecien Fabrics. I made
a lavender sachet for her and forgot to take a photo of the other things in the package.
Thank you Sylvie.

Les Brodeuse Parisinnes

I have been in a vintage mood lately. I did this Paris Shopping from Creation Point de Croix Magazine Issue No. 18. I plan on making it into a bag for my friend.

Finally doing something for myself. I did the Savon design from Creation Point de Croix Magazine Issue No. 22 for my kitchen. I just have to pick a nice frame.

Happy Mother's Day!

With Mother's Day tomorrow, I am walking for a cure in the Susan G. Koman Walk here in Philadelphia.
Fun with the family & hoping they find a cure before more mothers, daughters& sisters die from breast cancer.

My shirt for tomorrows walk with my beloved sister's name and a restaurant who sponsored my family.
I love the skyline of Philadelphia that is on the shirt.

Happy Mother's Day to all you ladies.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to me on May 3rd. I will be the big 40. I feel so old. Then follows Mother's Day.

I found the photo on the net and I am using it as a refrence of what I am looking for.
I have been searching for the Monogram Rose for such a long time and I can not find it.
If anyone knows where I can find it, please let me know. I appreciate any help.
